Water has two parts: 2 Hydrogen atoms and 1 oxygen atom
Water is a Polar Molecule
It's when the electrons spend more time around the Oxygen atom. Therefore the H end is slightly positive.
Hydrogen Bonding: Is a weak attraction between weakly positive H atoms and weakly negative O atoms of a different molecule.

Water is a Universal Solvent
Water can dissolve many materials.
It has adhesion, cohesion, and surface tension.
Adhesion: water is attracted to other materials.
Cohesion: water molecules are attracted to each other.
Surface tension: cohesive forces on the surface of water is stronger then ones below it.
High Heat of Vaporation: Hydrogen bonds must be broken so that water can absorb lots of heat without changing its phase.
High Latent Heat of Fusion: heat is released when it is freezed and heat is taken in when it's melted
Water temperature is more stable than air temperature, therefore it can change the climate to normal.
