Ocean hazards, Danger equations
Tsunamis
A tsunami is a series of water waves caused by the displacement of a large volume of a body of water, usually an ocean or a large lake. Earthquakes, volcanic eruptions and other underwater explosions(including detonations of underwater nuclear devices), landslides, glacier cavings, meteorite impacts and other disturbances above or below the water all have the potential to generate a tsunami. it is so power, it wipes out and destroys everything in its path they can even rise up to 25 feet or more. Look above ^^^ {how dangerous is that!}
Rip Currents
Rip currents are a strong narrow current flowing out from the beach throughout the surf zone. This causes a hazard to people swimming there. People who try to escape the rip current by swimming forward are only exhausting their energy and making a useless effort, so the best way to get out of rip current is to swim sideways out. Surf zone physic is where the water transforms in to hill with gravity trying to pull it back but it may be too strong. Underwater topography helps form rip waters. Inexperience is another factor that leads to danger when you don't know what to do in a rip current. Rip currents are a powerful dangerous current to be in, just remember if you get caught to swim sideways to get out then once you notice you're not being pulled back, swim back to shore.
Jelly fish
Jelly fish are dangerous predators, with a deadly poisonous sting they can even kill you. low shorlines with steep waves brings jelly fish closer to the shore, and since we share the same habitat "the great barrier reef" it makes it easier for them to come to us. there is much more room for jelly fish in the sea because of the diminishing amount of fish out there as well.
